Motion Pictures Production
Creating substantial national film ideas that carry value in art, culture, tourism and ethnicity, drawn from the legends, myths and chronicles of the archipelago.
Our development work starts from the same place every time: a legend, a myth or a chronicle that already belongs to somewhere specific in the archipelago.
That constraint is deliberate. A story with a real place attached brings its own texture - language, ritual, landscape, the way a community actually talks about the thing - and none of that has to be invented in a writers room. It also means the research is a real cost and a real schedule item, not a line we can compress when the budget moves.
What we are looking for in a project is whether the cultural material survives the adaptation. If the film would work equally well with the setting swapped out, we have not found the story yet.
